Jazz is a technical dance style danced to popular music as seen in music videos (commercial jazz), musical theatre (Broadway Jazz), cabaret and international stage productions (traditional jazz).

Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sound of one’s tap shoes hitting the floor (or other surfaces) as a percussive instrument.  Tap is most commonly found in musical theatre however a new genre “Street Tap” is becoming popular and this style of tap can be seen in movies like “Bootmen”.
